I grew up in a missionary family in Botswana. I studied Fine Art, worked, and at the age of 28, I obeyed the call of God to go on a year of mission training and outreach. This turned into 10 years of full time involvement in various mission ministries. In 2007 I believe the Lord released me to start my own Business and Ministry in Video Productions. One of my passions is to see the youth have the chance and opportunity to do short term missions.
I was born in JHB in 1970 to Errol and Claudia Wesson. My dad is a pastor so we moved around a lot. When I was 16 I gave my heart to Jesus. We began to look at our school as a mission field. We prayed around the flag pole every morning until we couldn’t hear the person on the other side of the circle any more, then moved into a class room; this group grew to 200 people. At the moment we have an invested interest in missions with our son traveling the world with Global Challenge. We know that God has a plan for us to be involved on the Fullies Missions Committee.
I have always had a heart for sharing the message of Jesus with people. It seemed very natural when I did the Kairos course last year. While doing the course I felt a strong push to do more and during this time my son was accepted to go to Global Challenge Missions, and it was then suggested to me that I join the missions committee which I already felt the Holy Spirit leading me to do. We all have a calling and this is an opportunity for us to get involved and respond.
“Jesus called on them [his followers] to come to Him and drink. The comfort flows plentifully and constantly as a river; strong as a stream to bear down the opposition of doubts and fears. There is a fullness in Christ, of grace for grace. The Spirit dwelling and working in believers, is as a fountain of living, running water, out of which plentiful streams flow, cooling and cleansing as water.” John 7:37-39
